Now in its third year, The Great Sydenham Bake Off is a firm favourite event in the calendar, where girls work independently, or in teams, to bake and decorate a cake that both tastes delicious and represents house spirit!
This year we celebrated 55 entries, with pupils all the way from Year 7 to 13 getting involved!
Congratulations to the top bakes from each house:
Grey – Nina W Y13, with a lemon and blueberry naked cake
Stanley – Georgia Y10, with a red velvet flavour Minion
Gurney – Emilia Y11, with her ‘Class of 2027’ eagle chocolate flavoured cake
Shirreff – Stevie and Mei Y8 with their intricate dragon design accompanied by a handmade chocolate filled egg and treasure chest
And a special congratulations to Shirreff and Grey for being crowned this year’s winners!
