We are so proud of our Junior School for its shortlist place in this year’s TES Awards! We have always known how magical it is, and it is wonderful to see this recognised in such prestigious, national awards.
The category specified Junior Schools showing continued excellence including innovation, imagination and efforts to develop children in ways that go beyond academic achievement and the league tables.
Antonia Geldeard, Head commented:
“I am absolutely delighted to see our Junior School shortlisted for TES Independent Prep School of the Year 2026. This award recognises our Junior School as academically strong, pastorally exceptional, and driven by a clear vision for holistic education – a culture that refuses to choose between high performance and genuine joy.
It is always a pleasure to see our youngest learners in action. When girls feel valued, seen and heard, they thrive. The joyful learning that occurs each and every day is testament to dedicated staff, support from our families and the engagement of our girls.
As a national award, there is huge competition across the UK and I am so pleased that the judges have recognised that our Junior School is exceptional, forward‑thinking, and deeply pupil‑centred. I would like to thank Gillian Panton and our staff for all they do to instil a culture of care and ambition. The warm and welcoming community of Giraffe Girls is a unique environment in which our girls grow and develop.”
We look forward to the awards ceremony in June!
