On Monday, the U12 cricket squads travelled to Blackheath for a competitive afternoon of Cricket.

The A team match was closely fought with tight bowling and good fielding on display for both sides it all came down to the final over. On this occasion, Blackheath came away victorious by a very small margin of 6 runs. But special mentions to Tabby R for taking 2 wickets in a single over and to Connie and Thalia who when batting scored 19 runs without loss of a wicket.

In the B team match, the girls were dominant, batting with confidence and supporting it with strong dynamic fielding. The girls were able to orchestrate a 57-run victory with Ffion being awarded bowler of the match after an accurate display and Natalia batter of the match, after finding the gaps on almost every shot. A fantastic team performance – Well done girls.
