National Schools Cricket
This week, pupils joined thousands of others across the country in celebrating National Schools Cricket Day, and the enthusiasm in the Junior and Senior school was unmistakable. Pupils embraced a full programme of cricket themed activities designed to build skills, confidence and—most importantly—enjoyment of the game.

Cricket
On Wednesday, two U12 squads travelled to Bromley High School for their first Cricket games of the season. It was a fantastic afternoon with strong displays from all the teams involved. Coming away with 1 win and 1 loss was fair results, with each team having differing strengths. Special mentions to Ffion for her bowling, coming close to a maiden over and to Thalia for batting with confidence, putting the pressure on the opposition by running aggressively between the wickets.
Athletics
Thursday saw Year 7 & 8 travel to Croydon for an athletics festival. It was fabulous to see so many girls taking part and experiencing what it is like to compete as an individual. There were fantastic performances across both years, notably Imona sprinting well and Ava competing strongly in the 1500m. We are looking forward to seeing these girls continue to compete throughout the summer term.
