Outstanding LAMDA examination results 2026

LAMDA pupils at both the Junior and Senior School are once again celebrating outstanding results in their recent examinations.

Outstanding LAMDA Drama Award 2026

Tilly PS is the worthy recipient of this Year’s Outstanding LAMDA Drama Award. She has shown an unwavering commitment to her LAMDA classes from the Junior School until Year 10, where Tilly has achieved her Grade 8 examination. Tilly now has the equivalent of an A/S Level qualification with UCAS points to add to her CV. She should feel justly proud of her efforts over the years.

LAMDA pupils at both the Junior and Senior School are once again celebrating exceptional results in their recent examinations, with an incredible 98% of pupils achieving a Distinction and Senior School pupils gaining qualifications equivalent to GCSE and AS Levels.

LAMDA stands for the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, with weekly classes in Acting, Verse, and Prose available to all pupils from Reception through to Year 13.

In these classes, pupils gain a deep sense of confidence, both in themselves and in their communication with others. From the quieter girl wishing to find their voice to the budding actress, LAMDA classes are truly for everyone. Pupils learn to speak clearly and audibly, articulate their thoughts with poise, and develop vital performance skills for their futures. The classes also promote a love of poetry and plays, fostering an appreciation for literature that beautifully complements their English and Drama studies.

Junior School pupils can take their very first LAMDA exam while still in Reception, reciting a short poem and conversing with the examiner about a favourite game or toy. From this young age, children develop essential speaking and listening skills in a fun, positive environment. A quieter child’s self-esteem will truly soar as their communication and performance abilities blossom.

Senior pupils learn to speak with assurance and articulate complex thoughts in an encouraging, safe space. They develop advanced acting skills, ranging from the technical importance of voice projection to staging a scene and the intricate process of character development.

In many cases, pupils successfully skip grades to fast-track their progress, with most achieving their Grade 8 Gold Medal examination by the end of Year 10. This means they secure an AS Level-equivalent qualification with accompanying UCAS points before they even sit their GCSEs!

“In short, in LAMDA classes, your daughter will gain confidence in herself. She will learn how to perform and communicate with confidence. Skills for life”
